Answer Pay, a payments-as-a-service platform, and Partner Hub, an online invoicing service and technology provider, have teamed up to make it simpler for banks to offer request-to-pay and eInvoicing services to their clients.

The partnership, according to an Answer Pay blog post, combines Answer Pay’s request-to-pay service, which is available in the United Kingdom and the Single European Payments Area (SEPA), with Partner Hub’s ability to reformat invoice data from enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for invoice presentation and automatically generate payment requests over Answer Pay’s request-to-pay networks.

The two groups, according to the report, collaborate to make it simpler for banks to integrate these services into their portfolios.

Partner Hub co-founder Katalin Kauzli remarked in the release, “The two largest banks in Hungary were able to quickly and safely get up and running with our [eInvoice] solution.” “We’re pleased to work with Answer Pay to help banks around Europe fully use this powerful combination of [eInvoicing] and [request-to-pay].”

According to the post, request-to-pay is becoming more popular because it allows businesses to collect regular payments from their customers, which is especially important during Europe’s current cost of living crisis, while eInvoicing is becoming more common because many European nations are looking to make it mandatory.
