BigCommerce has teamed with identity marketing provider SheerID to help BigCommerce businesses make offers and discounts available to a broad percentage of the American population.
According to BigCommerce’s chief commercial officer, Russell Klein, “our connection with SheerID further highlights our commitment to provide merchants access to the highest-caliber technology and service providers available in the industry.”
We are thrilled to work with SheerID to provide reciprocal client assistance. SheerID shares our goal of assisting businesses in selling more and expanding faster in order to maximize success.
Customers include the military, teachers, healthcare professionals, first responders, elderly, young people, and recent movers, who account for 70% of the adult population in the United States, as well as students at institutions in 191 other countries.
SheerID is a digital verification engine with access to 20,000 worldwide data sources to quickly determine if clients are eligible for special deals.
Companies have observed that employing SheerID to authenticate audiences for special offers results in three times the conversion of their normal campaigns and at least a 20:1 return on ad investment, according to the business.
“Our strategic relationship with BigCommerce enables BigCommerce merchants to effortlessly leverage our audience verification software from within their market-leading eCommerce platform,” said SheerID CEO Jake Weatherly.
In the cookie-less future, online merchants will increasingly rely on zero-party data marketing solutions embedded directly into eCommerce platforms.
“Oh my gosh, I love that when I look at something online and then hop into my phone to read the news and the product follows me,” he continued. “It’s really odd when I talk to a friend, a family member, or anyone else and they say that.” “What we did was flip the script,” the group explained.
That means saying goodbye to scattershot email and direct mail advertising based on questionable data, as well as the often lengthy application process for such offers.
According to Weatherly, the last stage of the process—applying or confirming your eligibility—was complicated, cumbersome, and replete with fraud.
