Partior has established its new Hyderabad Development Center in India and made many hires to its leadership team. Partior is a provider of blockchain technology for payment clearing and settlement.

The company’s first foreign operation, the Hyderabad Development Center, will concentrate on Web 3.0, growing the manufacturing and distribution of its technologies.

As the business gets ready to launch the fourth generation of its product this year, the new center will tap into the enormous technical talent pool in India to strengthen its innovation capabilities.

Partior will strengthen its currency offerings as it prepares to integrate the first batch of eight global currencies—the USD, SGD, GBP, EUR, AUD, JPY, CNH, and HKD—onto its platform by 2022, with a view to integrating additional currencies in 2023. Partior has advanced engagements with leading banks, central banks, and fintech companies across 15 countries.

Stella Lim, who will join Partior as its Chief Operating Officer, is one of the new hires. She most recently served as the managing director for SWIFT’s Asia Pacific region. She will be in charge of developing international alliances and enhancing organizational skills for the business.

Atul Bhuchar has been hired by Partior as its Head of Product to develop and carry out the business’s overall product strategy. Atul was the Global Transaction Services’ Head of Group Payments at DBS.

Saxon Bartrop will join Partior as the Head of Architecture, Design, and Innovation from UOB, where he served as the Group Domain Architecture Head for Wholesale Banking (Payments & Channels). He will direct the company’s innovation efforts and facilitate the global distribution of its technological infrastructure.

In order to strategically direct Partior’s international expansion, Angie Ong will join the firm as its General Counsel and provide her knowledge in distributed liability technology as well as her legal and regulatory practice. She most recently served as Meta’s Financial Technologies’ Head of Product Legal.

Finally, Partior has chosen Abhinava Kumar Singh to serve as the Hyderabad Development Center’s Technology Head. He formerly held the positions of Director and Head of the Engineering Practice for Payments at NatWest Group.
