Prismforce SaaS enables IT and technology service providers to accelerate profitable growth by digitizing and transforming their talent supply chain.

Prismforce, a vertical SaaS startup that enables IT firms to construct a digital-first, agile personnel supply chain, announced a $13.6 million Series A fundraising round headed by Sequoia Capital India.

Prismforce will use the cash to expand its product portfolio, develop its go-to-market skills, and expand its talent pool. Prismforce is active in the United States and India, with real installations at some of the most rapidly developing digital specialists and top IT suppliers.

Globally, IT suppliers have struggled to attract, engage, and retain skilled tech personnel. Complicating matters further is the exponential increase in demand for a wide range of skills as a result of business digitalization. To effectively manage this complexity, IT providers must address it as a talent supply chain issue, with a digital-first mindset. Prismforce addresses these issues with a range of purpose-built software tools.

Prismforce’s software solution for skill management, talent marketplace, and forecasting assists technology companies in effectively planning, staffing, and delivering projects while providing appealing career advancement for their personnel. This results in more sustainable, profitable development for businesses and more employee engagement.

Sequoia Capital India led the $13.6 million Series A funding round, which was joined by a select group of global angel investors. Prismforce had previously raised $1.8 million in seed funding from select industry thought leaders, serial entrepreneurs, and SaaS founders as angels a year ago. This brings the total amount raised to $15.4 million.

“Having served more than 30 top global IT providers and tech companies over 14 years while at McKinsey, my cofounder Mohd Qasim and I saw the opportunity to address this complex problem with a product-first approach,” said Somnath Chatterjee, Founder & CEO of Prismforce.
