GetVantage, a Mumbai-based revenue-based financing startup, has raised $36 million in a strategic funding round led by Varanium Nexgen Fintech Fund and DMI Sparkle Fund.
Existing investors such as Chiratae Ventures and Dream Incubator Japan joined the round, as did new investors such as Sony Innovation Fund, InCred Capital, and Haldiram’s family office, among others.
Aparajit Bhandarkar, a partner at Varanium Capital, will join GetVantage’s board of directors as part of the agreement.
The funding will be used to expand the startup’s product line as well as its ‘performance-based financing solution.’ The funds will also be used to expand its tech infrastructure and reach throughout Southeast Asia.
Amit Srivastava and Bhavik Vasa founded GetVantage in 2020 as a revenue-based financing platform that allows startups to raise capital by pledging a percentage of their future revenues in exchange for money invested. It also offers a variety of solutions for marketing, sales, logistics, and payment gateways to digital startups under its umbrella.
